Do you have a project that can valorize water resources by improving water management processes, distribution and quality?

Take part to the Call for Ideas linked to the #waterevolution Innovate H2O program, created to find and support the most promising ideas and the most innovative inputs related to innovation in the integrated water system.

Promoted by CAP Group in collaboration with Seeds & Chips - The Global Food Innovation Summit and with the contribution of Fondazione Cariplo, the incubation program, with a duration of 6 months, aims at promoting innovation and research related to the circular economy in order to maximize the value of water, improve its governance and promote investments.

Salazzurra, the new CAP Research Center at the Idroscalo Park, will host the young companies in the development of new sustainable solutions towards the definition of new applications of water and its waste in a circular economy perspective. In this way the startups will be able to contribute to the #waterevolution and design a future where water will be the protagonist of processes that regulate the development of our increasingly sustainable and intelligent cities.

Seeds & Chips will contribute through its strategic support and its network of contacts and skills and will offer to the startups an acceleration program for the definition of a business model, appropriate to the market. A real mentoring program that integrates with the workshop calendar and a networking process with other young startups aimed at encouraging the exchange of knowledge.

Mainly intended for members of the scientific community, aspiring entrepreneurs, university spin-offs, young start-ups, represented individually or in teams, the Call for Ideas will select the best proposals able to promote sustainable water consumption, offer solutions and innovative technologies for e-water management, link water and food waste, protect water basins and rivers, present sharing economy projects for saving of natural resources and, not least, promote network resilience. The objective will be to reward the productivity of ideas and their application on an industrial scale and along the water sector.

Candidates who meet the admission criteria of the regulation can submit their application by filling in the form available here.
The deadline for completing registration is February 17, 2019. Seeds & Chips and CAP Foundation reserve the right to close registrations or limit the number of participants at any time at their discretion. Once the selection is completed, the referents of the initiative will respond with feedback by March 1, 2019 and will send the invitation for the official presentation of the selected ideas.
