Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI) is a scientific and technological university institute founded in 1863.
Politecnico di Milano has more than 45,000 students, divided between the faculties of engineering, architecture and design.
The research is carried out in 12 departments where more than 1,300 academics operate.
In PerFORM WATER 2030, POLIMI is in charge of scientific coordination (Prof. Francesca Malpei, DICA) and is involved with researchers from 4 departments:
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICA) – Environmental Research area (DICA-AMB)
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICA) – Water Science and Engineering Research area (DICA-SIA)
Department of Energy (DENG)
Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering (DIG)
As a partner of the PerFORM WATER 2030, Politecnico di Milano is involved in all of the 4 themathic areas, always in close collaboration with the project partners. POLIMI is committed into both study and research activities as well as laboratory and pilot-scale experimental activities.
