Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI) is a scientific and technological university institute founded in 1863.
Politecnico di Milano has more than 45,000 students, divided between the faculties of engineering, architecture and design.
The research is carried out in 12 departments where more than 1,300 academics operate.

In PerFORM WATER 2030, POLIMI is in charge of scientific coordination (Prof. Francesca Malpei, DICA) and is involved with researchers from 4 departments:
